Review changes with approval workflows
Editors propose, approvers publish — review staged changes side by side with the live site before anything goes public.
Updated 2026-07-16
On the Team plan, changes made by Editors don’t go straight to the live site. They become change requests that wait in the approvals inbox at /approvals until someone with approval rights signs off.
02How a change request flows
An Editor makes changes as usual in the Studio. Those changes are staged, and a change request appears in /approvals. An Approver, Admin, or Owner reviews the staged version against what’s currently live, then either approves and publishes it or rejects it.
03Review a request
- Open /approvals to see pending change requests.
- Open a request and compare the staged changes with the live site.
- Choose Approve & publish to take the changes live, or Reject to send them back.
TipPair approvals with an automation on the site.published trigger — your team gets notified the moment approved changes go live.
