Password reset email never arrives
Check spam first, know the one-hour expiry, and understand the one silent case: deactivated accounts don’t receive resets.

01Request the reset correctly
Go to /auth/forgot and enter the email address on your account. The link you receive works once and expires after one hour, so use it soon after it arrives.
02Check your spam folder
Reset emails come from a transactional sender address, which some mail providers treat cautiously. Check spam and any promotions or updates folders before anything else — this resolves most cases.
03The silent case: no matching active account
For security, the reset page always shows a generic success message — even when no email is sent. If the address you entered doesn’t belong to an account, or the account was deleted or deactivated, no reset email goes out and nothing tells you so.
Double-check you’re using the exact email you signed up with. If you originally signed in with Google or GitHub, use that provider’s button on the sign-in page instead of a password reset.
04Still nothing?
If you’ve checked spam, confirmed the address, and waited a few minutes, contact support — they can check what happened to your account and the email.
