Connect Resend
Sends email from your own domain through your Resend account — confirmations, follow-ups, internal alerts.
Updated 2026-11-02
01What it does
- Rules: send an email when a form is submitted
02What you need
- API key — kept encrypted, never shown again. resend.com → API Keys → Create.
03Connect it
- In Resend, add and verify your sending domain (Domains → Add domain, then add the DNS records it shows).
- Open API Keys → Create API key with Sending access, and copy it (starts re_).
- In your site → Manage → Integrations, choose Resend, paste the key and press Connect.
- Open the Rules tab in your site → Manage → Integrations, choose an event (e.g. "Form submitted") and pick an action from this tool. The fields are pre-filled from the form; glance, then save. The From address must be on your verified domain.
04Check it works
- The card shows Working.
- Submit your own site's form once, then open the tool's run log (the clock icon on its card): a green row with a 2xx status means the other side accepted it.
- The email appears under Emails in Resend.
05If it does not work
- 403 — domain not verified — The From address must use a domain that Resend shows as Verified.
- Test reads fail with a send-only key — Create a Full access key, or re-create the key with domain read permission.
