Connect n8n

Triggers a workflow on your own n8n — your data stays on your server.

Updated 2026-11-02

01What it does

  • Rules: trigger a workflow with the whole event

02What you need

  • Production webhook URL — kept encrypted, never shown again. The production URL on your n8n Webhook node.

03Connect it

  1. In n8n, add a Webhook node set to POST, and copy its Production URL.
  2. Activate the workflow — the production URL only answers while the workflow is active.
  3. In your site → Manage → Integrations, choose n8n, paste the URL and press Connect.
  4. Open the Rules tab in your site → Manage → Integrations, choose an event (e.g. "Form submitted") and pick an action from this tool. The fields are pre-filled from the form; glance, then save.

04Check it works

  • Submit your own site's form once, then open the tool's run log (the clock icon on its card): a green row with a 2xx status means the other side accepted it.
  • The execution appears under Executions in n8n.

05If it does not work

  • 404 webhook not registered — You pasted the Test URL, or the workflow is inactive. Use the Production URL and activate it.
  • Blocked as a private address — CurateOne only calls public HTTPS hosts. Expose n8n on a public domain.
