Connect Notion
Adds a page to a Notion database for every enquiry — titled as you choose, with the details in its body.
Updated 2026-11-02
01What it does
- Rules: add a database page
02What you need
- Integration secret — kept encrypted, never shown again. notion.so/profile/integrations → New integration (Internal) → Internal integration secret.
- Database ID. The 32 characters in the database's link, before ?v=.
03Connect it
- Go to notion.so/profile/integrations → New integration, type Internal, pick the workspace, and copy the Internal integration secret.
- Open the database in Notion → ⋯ → Connections → add your integration (without this, Notion answers 404).
- Copy the database's link: the 32 characters before ?v= are its ID.
- In your site → Manage → Integrations, choose Notion, paste the secret and the Database ID, and press Connect.
- Open the Rules tab in your site → Manage → Integrations, choose an event (e.g. "Form submitted") and pick an action from this tool. The fields are pre-filled from the form; glance, then save. The database's title column must be called Name (Notion's default).
04Check it works
- The card shows Working.
- After a test enquiry the page appears in the database.
05If it does not work
- 404 object_not_found — The database is not shared with the integration. Add it under ⋯ → Connections.
- 400 Name is not a property — The title column was renamed. Rename it back to Name.
