Add Facebook Messenger to your site
A Messenger bubble that opens a conversation with your Facebook Page (an m.me link — no app review or key).
Updated 2026-11-02
01What it does
- A floating button in the corner you pick, stacked with any other chat bubbles.
02What you need
- Facebook Page username. The username from facebook.com/yourpage.
03Connect it
- On Facebook, open your Page and copy its username — the part after facebook.com/ (set one under the Page's settings if it has none).
- In Studio → ⋯ → Widgets → Facebook Messenger, switch it on.
- Paste it into "Facebook Page username" and pick the "Bubble position".
- Save, then Publish — widgets go live with your next publish, not before.
04Check it works
- Tap the bubble on your live site — Messenger opens a chat with your Page.
05If it does not work
- Messenger opens a profile, not the Page — You entered a personal profile name. Use the Page's username.
- Visitors can't message you — Messaging is switched off for the Page. Turn it on in the Page's settings.
