Add Google Search Console to your site
Adds Google's site-verification meta tag so you can prove you own the site in Search Console.
Updated 2026-11-02
01What it does
- The <head> of every page (not consent-gated)
02What you need
- Verification token. The content value from Search Console's HTML-tag verification method.
03Connect it
- In Google Search Console, add a URL-prefix property with your site's full address (e.g. https://yourname.curateone.ai).
- Choose the HTML tag verification method and copy only the content="…" value.
- In Studio → ⋯ → Widgets → Google Search Console, switch it on.
- Paste it into "Verification token".
- Save, then Publish — widgets go live with your next publish, not before.
- Back in Search Console, press Verify.
04Check it works
- Search Console says Ownership verified.
05If it does not work
- Verification fails — You verified before publishing, or pasted the whole <meta> tag. Paste only the content value, publish, then verify.
- No HTML tag option — Domain properties verify by DNS only. Add a URL-prefix property instead.
