Connect Airtable
Adds a row to an Airtable table for every enquiry or signup.
Updated 2026-11-02
01What it does
- Rules: add a row
02What you need
- Personal access token — kept encrypted, never shown again. airtable.com/create/tokens → Create token with scope data.records:write and access to your base.
- Base ID. In the table's address: airtable.com/appXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/…
- Table ID. In the same address, after the base: …/tblXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/…
03Connect it
- In your base, make sure the table has columns named exactly Name, Email, Phone and Message (any you leave out must also be left unmapped).
- Go to airtable.com/create/tokens → Create token. Add the scope data.records:write and give it access to this base.
- Open the table in your browser: the address holds the Base ID (appXXXX…) and the Table ID (tblXXXX…).
- In your site → Manage → Integrations, choose Airtable, paste the token, Base ID and Table ID, and press Connect.
- Open the Rules tab in your site → Manage → Integrations, choose an event (e.g. "Form submitted") and pick an action from this tool. The fields are pre-filled from the form; glance, then save.
04Check it works
- The card shows Working.
- After a test enquiry the row appears in the table.
05If it does not work
- 422 UNKNOWN_FIELD_NAME — A mapped field has no column of that exact name. Rename the column or unmap the field.
- 403 INVALID_PERMISSIONS_OR_MODEL_NOT_FOUND — The token has no access to this base, or lacks data.records:write.
