Add Google Translate to your site

A floating language switcher that machine-translates your site with Google's free website translator. No account or key.

Updated 2026-11-02

01What it does

  • A floating language pill on every page

02What you need

  • Languages (comma-separated codes) (optional). Comma-separated language codes to offer; empty = all languages.

03Connect it

  1. In Studio → ⋯ → Widgets → Google Translate, switch it on.
  2. Optionally list the languages to offer in "Languages" as comma-separated codes (e.g. hi,gu,mr) — leave empty to offer all.
  3. Pick the "Widget position".
  4. Save, then Publish — widgets go live with your next publish, not before.

04Check it works

  • Pick a language on the live site — the page text switches.

05If it does not work

  • The switcher doesn't appear — An ad or privacy blocker is hiding Google's script. Check in a clean browser.

06Not supported yet

  • Machine translation in the browser: translated pages are not indexed by search engines and can't be edited.
