Connect Google Analytics, Tag Manager and ad pixels

Link GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, Clarity or Hotjar — and verify they actually fire.

01Google Analytics 4

  1. In Google Analytics, create a GA4 property and add a Web data stream with your site address.
  2. Copy the Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXXXXX) into the Google Analytics widget and Save & enable.
  3. Publish, visit the live site, accept analytics cookies, and watch GA4's Realtime report register your visit.

02Tag Manager and ad pixels

Google Tag Manager takes a GTM-XXXXXXX container ID; note that a container can load any third-party script, so enabling it relaxes your site's script policy. Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight take their numeric IDs from each ads manager and load only after marketing consent.
